This Privacy Policy is published by MistCast, operated by Ankit Ranjan ("MistCast," "we," "us," "our"). It applies to all mobile apps, games, and web/desktop products we develop and publish, whether available today or released in the future, across Android, iOS, and Web/Desktop platforms (collectively, the "Services"). Individual Services may also publish their own supplementary privacy notice for features specific to them; where they do, that notice works alongside this Policy rather than replacing it.
This Policy explains what information we collect, why, how it's used, and what choices you have.
§01Information We Collect
Not every Service collects every category below — what applies depends on that Service's actual features (for example, a simple offline calculator collects far less than an online multiplayer game).
Information you provide directly (only where a Service offers accounts):
- Email/Password sign-in: your email address and an encrypted password (we do not store passwords in plain text).
- Social/Platform sign-in (e.g., Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple): basic profile information such as your name, email address, and profile photo, depending on the permissions you grant.
- Support communications: anything you send us directly, such as emails, bug reports, or feedback.
Information collected automatically:

Information we do not collect: We do not access the contents of other apps, files, or accounts on your device unless a specific Service's core function requires it, in which case that Service's own listing and permissions request will describe it. We never sell your information.
§02Third-Party Services
Depending on the Service and platform, we may use:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore/Realtime Database, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions) — backend, sync, analytics, and crash reporting.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and, where applicable, other ad networks — to serve and measure ads for free-tier users.
- Google Play Billing (Android) and Apple In-App Purchase/StoreKit (iOS) — to process purchases and subscriptions. Neither we nor these Policies give us access to your card or payment details; those are handled entirely by the respective platform.
- Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — for social login, where offered.
- Web hosting and analytics providers — for Web/Desktop Services, to serve pages and understand usage.
Each provider's own privacy practices govern the data they process on our behalf. Google's is at policies.google.com/privacy; Apple's is at apple.com/legal/privacy.
§03How We Use Information
- To operate core features of each Service (sync, trials, purchase verification)
- To display and measure ads for free-tier users, where applicable
- To understand usage patterns and fix bugs or crashes
- To communicate important updates (typically via in-app notification, since we generally don't hold another contact method for you)
We do not sell your information, and we do not build advertising profiles beyond what our ad partners independently do for ad delivery.
§04Data Sharing
We share information only with the third-party providers listed in Section 2, each acting in their own capacity to help us operate our Services. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your information with any other third party.
§05Data Retention and Deletion
- Local/on-device data: where a Service lets you use it without an account, your data stays on your device and is removed when you clear that Service's data or uninstall it — we have no copy of it.
- Account and synced data: retained as long as your account with that Service exists.
- Deletion requests: you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our separate Account Deletion Policy for the process, what gets deleted, and the timeline.
§06Your Rights and Choices
- Ad-free experience: where a Service offers a paid/Pro tier, purchasing or subscribing to it typically removes ads and stops related ad data collection for that Service.
- Access, correction, deletion: contact us at mistcast.com@gmail.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data for any Service.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g., GDPR/UK GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or other regional laws) — including rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
§07Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a specific Service is intended for a younger audience, that Service's own listing and any supplementary notice will describe additional safeguards. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it promptly.
§08Data Security
We rely on the security infrastructure of our platform and backend providers (Google Firebase, Google Play, Apple, and applicable web hosts) to protect the data described above, including encryption of stored passwords where accounts exist. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the data we hold.
§09International Data Transfers
Our third-party providers operate globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, under the safeguards those providers maintain.
§10Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our Services evolve or new ones launch. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of any Service after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
